The Young Musicians of the World team would like to heartily thank everyone involved at SiriusXM for their extraordinary generosity.

This major donation, by allowing us to increase the number of YMW music classes, will significantly contribute to the development of more than 400 youth in Montreal, Quebec City, Sherbrooke and Kitcisakik (Abitibi-Temiscamingue)” concludes Blaise Fortier, Cofounder of Young Musicians of the World.

An organization that contributes to youth development in underprivileged areas by creating free music schools that emphasize traditional music from the students’ countries of origin.

The SiriusXM Tour was attended by thousands of spectators in six different Quebec cities.

“We’re very proud to have been able to highlight Quebec artists while combining the experience with an organization dedicated to the musical awakening of our youth,” explains Andréanne Sasseville, Director of Canadian Content Development and Industry Relations for SiriusXM Canada.

“With the help of Scène 1425, we were able to bring together talented artists, orchestrate a tour in six cities, as well as share our passion for music with the public. We want to say a big thank you to everyone!”
