It is an opportunity for established and up and coming artists to divulge their stories to music lovers everywhere.
My love began when I was 13. I heard the Rolling Stones‘ song Angie on the radio. Once I found out who sang it, I realized I had five Stones`albums in my room that my older sister had given me. My first pay cheque – I bought 26 more Stones `albums. I was hooked on their music along with R and B, Soul, Country, Gospel and the Blues. All the genres the Stones have been successful in.
Over the years, I have been fortunate enough to speak and get to know guys like Jerry Mercer, Jimmy Clench, Brian Greenway, Jim, Ritchie and David Henman of April Wine. Michel Pagliaro, Steve Hill, Sass Jordan, Maurice Raymond of the Blushing Brides, Luba, Colin James and Breen Leboeuf of Offenbach.
Roger Walls, Rod Argent, Colin Blunstone and Jim Rodford ( the Zombies) , Glen Matlock ( Sex Pistols), Martha Wainright, Scott Kempner ( The Dictators), Darryl Jones, the bass player for the Rolling Stones and Blues’ legends Buddy Guy and James Cotton have all crossed my path.
I have interviewed over fifteen hundred musicians and everyone has a unique tale and unique ways of plying their crafts.
Mostly I have met many, many talented musicians who love what they do and have been unfortunate not to hit the big time. This is why I created this site. To help out.
