Rick Keene is a former radio guy (k103.7fm)
With over three hundred interviews and concert reviews – his knowledge within the music industry is first rate. Online he carries on to educate and promote new and established artists through words and music.

Always looking for other opportunities.
This is a site devoted to all the people who make and love music.
It is an opportunity for established and up and coming artists to divulge their stories to music lovers everywhere.
My love began when I was 13. I heard the Rolling Stones‘ song Angie on the radio. Once I found out who sang it, I realized I had five Stones`albums in my room that my older sister had given me. My first pay cheque – I bought 26 more Stones `albums. I was hooked on their music along with R and B, Soul, Country, Gospel and the Blues. All the genres the Stones have been successful in.
At 15 – I toured Southern Ontario with my cousin`s band; Sleight of Hand as a `roadie`. Meeting players such as Jeff Healey, Ronnie Hawkins and Robbie Robertson.

B. B King’s Drummer Tony Coleman
Over the years, I have been fortunate enough to speak and get to know guys like Jerry Mercer, Jimmy Clench, Brian Greenway, Jim, Ritchie and David Henman of April Wine. Michel Pagliaro, Steve Hill, Sass Jordan, Maurice Raymond of the Blushing Brides, Luba, Colin James and Breen Leboeuf of Offenbach.
Roger Walls, Rod Argent, Colin Blunstone and Jim Rodford ( the Zombies) , Glen Matlock ( Sex Pistols), Martha Wainright, Scott Kempner ( The Dictators), Darryl Jones, the bass player for the Rolling Stones and Blues’ legends Buddy Guy and James Cotton have all crossed my path.
I have interviewed over three hundred musicians and everyone has a unique tale and unique ways of plying their crafts.
Mostly I have met many, many talented musicians who love what they do and have been unfortunate not to hit the big time. This is why I created this site. To help out.
If you want to tell your story – please contact me. If you want to advertise – drop me a line !
Sincerely,
Rick Keene

Well well if it is not little Ricki………..lol….you are the son of Connie is this right? I remember you as a wee tyke crawling on the floor and making your mom’s life one of very lively living. You won’t remember me of course but I am Gary’s mom. Just found this site and thought I would send a little hello to you. Nice to see you all grown up.
Hi there! So sorry – thought I had responded to this. How are you? What are you up to ? Have you been in touch with Gary ?
Not much has changed then, Rick is out there still making other lives one of very lively living. Keep the Groove Alive!
