In an environment where part time ‘musicians’ playing in bad cover bands have taken over the local club scene, Festival de la Voix reminds everyone what great music is all about.
Festival de la Voix is an annual music festival held over the span of four weeks each spring in venues primarily based in the West Island of Montreal. The concerts and workshops feature internationally renowned professional artists and musicians from various backgrounds, cultures, and musical styles — from opera to jazz to pop and beyond.
Festival de la Voix was founded in 2012 under the charitable organization known as Vox Aeterna, by soprano, singer-songwriter, and voice teacher Kerry-Anne Kutz, along with her friends and students Sonia Castiglione and Sheila Faour-Warren.
Kerry-Anne’s mission was to provide her students (and the wider community) with the opportunity to discover exceptional professional singers and musicians of various genres in concert, as well as the chance to learn from these artists in workshops and masterclasses.
The festival takes place from April 4 – 28, 2026
