Rick Keene Music Scene – Juno Award Winner Sue Foley Shares Her Experience of Playing with Billy Gibbons

Sue Foley grew up in Ottawa. She heard the Rolling Stones and discovered The Blues through them. At the age of twenty -one, she was living and plying her craft in Austin Texas.

2018 marked Foley’s return as a solo artist with her latest album, The Ice Queen, which featured guest appearances by Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top and Jimmie Vaughan.

In May 2020, Foley won a Blues Music Award in the ‘Koko Taylor Award (Traditional Blues Female)’ category
