The Festival de la Voix season 11 edition aspires to uplift with breathtaking music and remarkable performances for a month of music from March 20-April 13, and a special, post-festival show featuring award-winning Connie Kaldor on April 19.
On offer in the West Island (Dorval, Pointe-Claire, Beaconsfield, Pierrefonds-Roxboro, Sainte-Geneviève, Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue) are 6 eclectic, multi-artist concerts including combinations of solo powerhouses, orchestras, singer-songwriters, choirs, jazz trios, classical ensembles, folk and blues musicians and vocal quartets; 3 exceptional workshops; and unique school shows.
Sat. March 16, 1pm: Exceptional pre-festival masterclass voice workshop, The Voice Across the Lifespan: Unveiling Medical and Technical Challenges
Wed. March 20, 7:30pm: Concerts kick off with Martine St-Clair on. This pop icon powerhouse is one of Quebec’s most beloved artists
Fri. March 22, 8pm: Fun, live band sing-along concert/workshop- Dance and Sing with DNR
Sunday, March 24, Nadia Di Lauro and her band will jazz and swing; award-winning folk-blues man Rob Lutes performs his beautifully crafted songs
